A dedicated individual, Tinotenda Jamela has been in the industry since 2002 as a receptionist cum media buyer learning the ropes from Total Media, and later joining Columbus DDB in 2004 as a Media Executive. She ran the Columbus media hub for four years before marriage to Sheunesu Jamela moved her to Botswana and joined one of the leading agencies The Brand Studio as a Client Service / Media Manager under which exposure was gained in handling campaigns for local and international brands. On returning to Zimbabwe in 2010 she re-joined ColumbusDDB and was instrumental in transforming the functional media hub into a media-buying house until 2022. With all the invaluable experience, this journey gave birth to Effective Media a vibrant Media Company that seeks to go beyond just media planning and buying but offers the six pillars of media: Media Research, Media Strategy, Media Planning, Media Buying, Media Monitoring and Reporting, and Media Evaluation.
